Entertainment industries are growing and generally they seek inspiration from each other to add more flavour of entertainment to their work during all this process they give and take various elements from each other. Sometimes they remake their material or they copy it which sometimes effect the other. Similar scenario is created as Priti Sapru has filed the case against TV show maker of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan.
Priti Sapru has filed a case against the producers of the show, Tony and Deeya Singh in the Bombay High Court. The concept of the show is similar to that of Sapru’s upcoming film ‘Teri Meri Gal Ban Gayi’. Priti said, “I have invested a lot of money in the making of the film which is 90% complete. It is scheduled to release in 2020 and if a show with a similar storyline is aired before the film it will seem that my film is copied.” “If the producers of the show have some proof of registering the concept prior to us, we’d like to see it. I had already got the concept registered back in 2017.” she added. Priti has also shared the image of already registered script of the film with Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association and The Screenwriters Association in 2017.
Teri Meri Gal Ban Gyi is Akhil’s debut movie opposite to Rubina Bajwa in which direction ios given by Priti Sapru. Now the team of Teri Meri Gal Ban Gyi will take the breath of relief when the show makers will give them some clearance.
