In September 2017, Reliance Entertainment hosted an event to announce the film with the team that had won the 1983 World Cup. They titled the movie ’83’ which will be a hindi language sports drama film directed by Kabir Khan.



The film star many celebrities from bollywood namely Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani. Along with them pollywood stars also shared the frame namely Ammy Virk, Hardy Sandhu, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ihana Dhillon.

The punjabi artist shared the posters of movie on their social media handles which explains the excitement and giving hints about the movie because Wamiqa has shared a story that explains she is playing the character of Hardy’s or Madan Lal’s wife in the movie. Moreover she wrote “This is incredible. I am glad to have worked with you in #83 nad to have known you enoughduring the shoot. Can’t wait for people to see the magic #83 gonna bring to the cinemas.”

Even Ammy went to his social media account and shared the poster of the character of Hardy in the movie with caption “Madddi bhaaaa 🤗… ye mera aaadi hai sangtre di faadi hai @harrdysandhu 🤗🤗🤗 “. Moreover he shared recently his look from ’83’ where he is playing the character of Balwinder Singh Sidhu. Sometimes when we play a character of biopic we start liking them similarly happens with Ammy Virk as it is clearly explained from his caption in the post.
