Carry On Jatta 2 (Movie Review)
Genre: Romance Comedy
Director: The movie is directed by Sameep Kang
Cast: Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jaswinder Bhalla, Karamjit Anmol, Upasna Singh, B N Sharma and Sonam Bajwa are seen in pivotal roles.
Producer: Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu
Screenplay: The movie’s screenplay is by Naresh Kathuria
Plot: Laden with laughs, this chaotic and hilarious comedy-of-errors expands upon the madness and mayhem that took place in the prequel ‘Carry on Jatta.’
The movie is tickling, funny and confusing like the previous movie. The storyline and plot is quite similar to the last hit! The punches and the comedy timing of the team is another reason why the movie was one among the awaited ones.
The movie is full on confusion regarding the marriage of Jass, who is the tenant of Advocate Dhillon, and this time, Jass’s best friend Honey will be seen doing Marriage consultancy in the movie. The characters are same, but the fun is ultimate!
Acting: All the artists have done so well in the movie, but Karamjit Anmol has done a tremendous job and justice to his character of a ‘Sala’! His body language and the outlook says it all.
Moreover, artists like Gippy, Binnu Dhillon, and Gurpreet Ghuggi are admirable to our Punjabi industry! The actress Sonam Bajwa and Upasna Singh proves to be the best add on ever!
Technical aspects: Editing, screenplay and cinematography for the movie seems to be adjacent with the movie. Though the music is amazing, but, the songs of the movie seems to be outmatching with the content of the movie.
Negative Cults:If we talk about fun, comedy and entertainment, Carry On Jatta 2 is lit! But, if we talk about sense, or logic! It fails to connect the dots!
Critical Rating: 3.5/5
