The trailer of Kulwinder Billa and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer Parahuna has been released and it seems like this will be a fun-filled film trying to make the audience laugh as much as possible. Through all the chaos and the madness that has been portrayed in the trailer, this movie is going to be a complete ride of fun and frolic that is typical of a loud and happy Punjabi family.

Parahuna is a story about three son-in-laws who happen to be stuck in the age-old rivalry with their in-laws and this time, it is the Fufadd, the eldest son-in-law who will be their biggest rival.

The trailer begins with a centuries old sweet-sour relationship between a Jija and his Saali. Karamjit Anmol seems to have very wonderfully portrayed the role of that particular Jija who is always cheerfully flirting away with his Saalis.

But it is not just the men in this family who are wanting of command. The women of this family have even more control over the men and well, when did it not make us laugh proudly to see witty and sarcastic women on silver screen. As much respect as the Parahunas want, they get double the amount of soft ridicule of their women.

Wamiqa Gabbi is seen in the trailer for a very short period of time but even in that short span she is able to get our attention with all her charm and beauty, which is truly a resemblance of the ever beautiful Priti Sapru. Her presence in the film is surely going to be a pleasure for the heart. Kulwinder Billa has fallen for this woman of dreams and the whole story will revolve around how the destiny of his love, and more than that, who will have the final say in his marriage- the Parahunas or the Fuffad!

Even though this is a male-centric movie given the title, women like Anita Meet and Nirmal Rashi do not let their presence go unnoticed and in the trailer itself, they have been able to take the comic strife in their hands, which is a commendable thing to watch for in Punjabi cinema.

Focussing on all the members of a family and not just the lead actors in the poster as well as the trailer is a proof of the fact that it is going to be a complete family drama. Everyone from the first to the third generations has been given a space which is what makes this film different from what we have seen already.

The first song that plays in the background is sung by Rajvir Jawanda and towards the ending of the trailer is a song that has been sung by Nachattar Gill. The music of the film is amazing and will surely make place in the upcoming wedding season.

Parahuna is definitely going to be a riot of laughs and smiles, of love and relationships, and of all the tiny-big arguments and brawls that happen in a family, and that which make a family, a family. This drama of a crazy yet loving Punjabi family will hit the screens on Setember 28.
